How to convert Labour Hire to an Employee
All new employees must be processed via the Recruitment/Onboarding process - this includes personnel currently working in a labour hire capacity who have now been offered permanent employment
Follow the below steps to convert an existing active labour hire account to an employee:
- There must be an approved Employee ATR for the position being filled. ATR's can be generated by managers using the Create ATR Form.
- For more information about the recruitment process contact the Talent Acquisition team.
- Once the ATR is approved you will be prompted to select a Preferred Applicant. Enter the details of the prospective employee here, ensure you select "No" for "Is this a current BEX employee"

- Once your preferred applicant is approved by Talent Acquisition an Onboarding form in order to provide hardware, ID's, and proper system access.
- For Operations roles: The Talent Acquisition team will complete the onboarding form
- For non-Operations roles: Either the recruitment manager or the Talent Acquisition team may complete the onboarding form
NOTE: When completing the onboarding form for a labour hire conversion, Employment Type must be "Employee", and you should mark "Yes" for "Is this employee being converted..."

This will ensure that their existing account is not duplicated but is converted.
